Other products of the hive

Bee pollen is gathered by bees in the shape of tiny granules of different colors. It is a major protein source containing amino acids of high biological value, mineral salts, vitamins and carbohydrates. It regenerates and stimulates hepatic and intestinal functions and matches perfectly with honey.

The royal jelly is secreted by worker bees and is the sole food source of the Queen Bee. It contains essential nutrients such as pantothenic acids, vitamins, glucides and natural hormones. It enhances metabolism.

Propolis is a resinous substance that honeybees gather from tree leaves and then process. It is a sticky, resin-like material with a pleasant smell. It contains resins, flavanoids, terpenes, fat acids, essential oils, etc. It is of high pharmacological value with natural antibiotic, anesthetic and regenerating properties.

The beeswax is a blend of esters, hydrocarbons and acids that bees secrete from special glands. It is largely used in cosmetic and pharmaceutic industries (for lipsticks, creams, unguents, etc.).
